Züri

Züri is a 4 year old White Swiss Shepherd.  In honor of his breed, he was named after the city of Zürich.

He loves cheese.

He prefers sticks over balls.

He excels at napping and enjoys sleeping in ridiculously awkward positions.

Can spot a mud puddle a mile away and is not satisfied until he runs through it.

He doesn’t bat an eye at thunder or fireworks, but children scare him.

He is the best road tripper (seriously, sometimes he is so chill that we wonder if we forgot to put him in the car).

For the record, this trip was not his idea.  He has no idea why his crazy humans decided to take a grownup gap year to travel Europe. He likes routine and struggles with adjusting to, and being left alone in, new places. But he’s also been a great sport about trying new things.

He rode across the United States and flew across the Atlantic. He’s been on busses, trains, gondolas and ferries. He ran in the Swiss Alps, strolled the Promenade in Nice and navigated the canals of Venice. And he’s left a trail white hair to prove it.

We are so glad to have him with us on this adventure!
